An 800-year-old hilltop fort overlooking Karimabad with views toward Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar. A short uphill walk rewards you with royal history, Tibetan-influenced architecture, and some of Hunza's finest panoramas.

Attabad Lake

Born from a 2010 landslide, this turquoise lake along the Karakoram Highway is now a symbol of upper Hunza. Boat rides, jet skiing, and lakeside cafés make it a highlight on nearly every itinerary from Karimabad.

Altit Fort

Roughly 900 years old and carefully restored in Altit village, this UNESCO-recognised monument opens a window into Hunza's royal past through gardens, galleries, and commanding valley views.

Hussaini Bridge

Karimabad Bazaar

Eagle's Nest (Duikar)
